Matcha Tiramisu
Cooking Time: 15 mins
Servings: 1 large bowl
Ingredients needed:
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 250g mascarpone
- 300ml whipping cream
- 1 pack ladyfinger biscuits
- matcha powder
- 1 tbsp granulated sugar
Instructions:
1. In a mixing bowl, mix 2 egg yolks and 2 tbsp sugar (while the mixing bowl is soaked in hot water), until it turns light yellow
2. Remove the mixture from hot water. Add in 250g of mascarpone and mix well.
3. In another mixing bowl, add in 300ml of whipping cream and mix until it hardens. Add in the mixture from the mixing bowl previously. Mix well.
4. Sift the matcha powder. Add in 1 tbsp of sugar and mix well. After mixing, dip each individual sponge biscuit in the matcha.
5. Layer the sponge biscuits by putting the biscuits first then the mixture on top. Continue layering until the bowl is almost filled.
6. Top off the tiramisu by sifting matcha powder on the surface of the tiramisu. Enjoy!
